Excellent food and service! Staff and patrons friendly. Music pleasant and not deafening. Reminded us of restaurants in Europe. We will be going back soon.
An oddly fancy little restaurant nestled in a shopping center behind Whole Foods in falls church. We made it for a late Sunday brunch, enjoying the Chicken Puccata Cappelini, Mushroom Ravioli, and Homestyle Breakfast (eggs, bacon and pancakes). The freshly-baked bread was a lovely touch. Our friend dug the Merguez sausage. The Caesar salad's dressing was not my fave.
Food Service Ambiance fantastic!!! Unbelievably delicious!!! The Mussels Marinara is the best I've ever had!! The Sea Bass was exceptional as well!!! I've traveled all over the world and this food is some of the best I've ever enjoyed!!!
Lovely old world ambiance and delicious food ! Great service and they even have a talented jazz pianist!!
Delicious food, and nice ambiance. We visited for the first time last night and had a delicious meal! Two of us tried a 3-course special that they had running: I had the Shrimp Ajo, Lamb Shank Risotto, and Key Lime Tart. My husband had the Caesar salad, Beef Bourguignon Pappardelle, and German Chocolate cake. We will definitely be back! A couple highlights: food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and had delicious flavor. A musician was playing and singing classic songs which added to the ambiance. Online reservations were easy to make! The only (minor) downsides we found: the parking lot is small and space was limited. They also did run out of the chocolate mousse cake, but that was not a big deal (our reservation was 6:45pm so we were towards the end of the dinner rush by the time we got to dessert, so that happens).
It's a great small place with fresh food. Comfortable for small family get togethers. Staff is very attentive and friendly.
Ambiance romantic- hidden gem. Great wine choices. Started with a Caesar salad with the right amount of garlic. For an appetizer we enjoyed jumbo shrimp with a tomatoes and a unique sauce. We shared the Branzino with salmon and wonderful vegetables I always say if the coffee is Good then the quality follows. And for the finally we had the chocolate moose. Our server Din made us feel at home. Cannot wait until our visit
Booked a 7:30pm reservation and was seated 45 minutes late. They obviously overbooked. I will probably not go back. My rating deals with the food only. I had the beans with Merguez appetizer. What a disappointment. My mother's family came from Algeria and I enjoy a good Merguez, these tasted too fatty and had a very strong mutton flavor. Then I had the steak au poivre with French fries, your "steak frites". It was amazing and delicious. Cooked just right, great pepper flavor and perfectly cooked French Fries. This dish was a 5 star experience. Very crowded on a Saturday night and loud music playing. Hard to carry a conversation. I might go back during the week to have the steak again.
